One year of progress
It’s been one year since I started drawing my own floral patterns for tooling leather. At first it was a real struggle, I never learned to draw as a kid, so something as simple as a leaf or a stem was a challenge. As I collected various books, lessons online, and tutorials. I got better and better, practicing most nights just drawing even spirals, simple petals or other elements. Eventually I started to combined them and then I had to learn basic layout so they would be even and the elements would be better proportioned. After a year of near constant practice this is the result.
